Homeland Security 2022 Public Safety Symposium

Ohio Homeland Security will be hosting a Public Safety Symposium August 2-4, 2022 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

This conference runs concurrently with the 2022 Ohio School Safety Summit hosted by the Ohio School Safety Center and the State Fair.

Sessions will include presentations and trainings related to trending public safety topics, best practices, success stories, trends, and research.

Topics may include but are not limited to cyber safety, drug trends, community threat assessment, grant funding for first responders, emergency management, private security resources and training, federal/state/local resources and supports, violent crimes, and first responder recruitment and wellness.

The symposium and summit have a variety of stakeholders that may be present, including but not limited to:  administrators, support and administrative staff, educators, school counselors and psychologists, school resource officers, transportation, school nurses, first responders and emergency support personnel, private security, intelligence liaison officers, private and public partners, federal/state/local government, community providers and other public safety specialists.

OHS is inviting it’s partners and stakeholders to submit presentations for consideration for the event as well as consider joining us in the exhibit hall with a booth to market your organization’s services or products.
